The Monovino awards, which select only monovarietal wines, have already published their final medals of the 2019 edition, and among the winners are three of our wines, which have received three gold medals.

Pasión de Moscatel has received the white wine gold without aging in wood, and Pasión de Bobal red and Equilibrio 9 have received the gold in the category of red wines with up to 12 months of aging in wood.

Pasión de Moscatel and Pasión de Bobal take the variety chosen in its name, Muscat for white and Bobal for red. Two very Mediterranean grapes that we grow in our vineyards located in Camporrobles, at 920 meters of altitude, which gives the grape some unique characteristics, due to the extreme climate of the area, accentuated by being in the highest altitude area of the region. Both varietals come, in addition, from old vineyards, with 25 years in the case of the Moscatel and more than 60 years in the case of the Bobal.

Equilibrio 9 gives name to one of the monovarietals that we elaborate in Jumilla, where we have old vineyards and an own winery. In Murcia, our vineyards provide Monastrell grapes of excellent quality, which in the case of Equilibrio 9 comes from vineyards over 40 years old. This wine has nine months of aging in French and American oak barrels.

Practically 80% of our wines are monovarietal, so we are very satisfied when some awards that value the complex work involved in making wines with a single variety, recognize our work.
