When is the next event at the winery? This is a question we are often asked, and we love it! Because it means that either you have already come and enjoyed them so much that you want to come again, or that you have heard about them and it seems to be very good.

Well, for those ‘early birds’ who want to be the first to know what’s going on, we can tell you that we already have the agenda of wine tourism events of Bodega Sierra Norte at the winery in Calderón (Requena – Valencia).

Bookings will open a few weeks before each event, and we will let you know via social media. If you don’t follow us yet, here are the links to Instagram and Facebook.

We will also be telling you about them through our newsletter, if you want to receive it and have all this information delivered to your email, you can sign up and you’ll have it done.

In addition to our special events, we have wine tourism visits every day of the week. From Monday to Friday you can enjoy our visit to the winery with wine tasting and pairing. And also more complete visits, such as ‘Catadores de Aventuras’, which includes an active tourism activity; and ‘Catadores de Patrimonio’, which in addition to the visit to the winery is complemented with a cultural activity of your choice.

Wine tourism events at Bodega Sierra Norte Calderón during 2023, in Requena (Valencia)

WINE TOURISM EVENTS FEBRUARY 2023:

• Sunday, 12th February: Sausage Fair.

We will prepare a lunch of grilled sausages from Requena with the pairing of our wines Fuenteseca, Mariluna and Equilibrio.

WINE TOURISM EVENTS APRIL 2023:

• Saturday, 1st April: Sushi Workshop

You will learn how to make the most famous pieces of this speciality of Japanese gastronomy, such as nigiri, california maki and maki, with the help of the experts of Holykhansushi. During the workshop we will serve the perfect wines to pair with sushi.

• Saturday, 29th April: Blind Tasting
  

We propose an activity that is half tasting and half game. We will taste six wines but without knowing any of their characteristics beforehand, not even their brand name, and then we will compare the results with the official wine tasting sheet. Will you have hit the nail on the head? Surprises are guaranteed. The activity will be guided by our oenologist Mapi Domingo.

WINE TOURISM EVENTS MAY 2023:

• Sunday, 14th May: Yoga among Vineyards
  

Enjoy a yoga master class on our terrace, find peace and concentration while contemplating the landscape full of vineyards. At the end, we will prepare a lunch, a wine tasting and a visit to the winery.

WINE TOURISM EVENTS JUNE 2023:

• Friday, 23rd June: Hello, Summer
  

Come and welcome summer to our winery. We will enjoy an outdoor dinner with wine pairing and music. The gateway to all the enjoyable summer experiences.

WINE TOURISM EVENTS JULY 2023:

• Thursday, 20th July: Pink Party

Rosé wine lovers can’t miss this event. On this day everything turns pink, especially the wine glasses. The first edition was a complete success and we intend to make the second one even better.

WINE TOURISM EVENTS AUGUST 2023:

• Thursday, 17 August: Sushi & Wines

Sushi tasting paired with our wines. A perfect combo for winelovers who enjoy this Japanese food that will be prepared by the experts of Hollykhansushi.

WINE TOURISM EVENTS SEPTEMBER 2023:

• Sunday, 17 September: Zumba among vineyards.

We will start the activity with a fun Zumba class. Afterwards, we will recover our strength with lunch and some wines. We’ll also visit the winery.

WINE TOURISM EVENTS OCTOBER 2023:

• Sunday, 1st October: Harvest and Picnic Lunch

If you are looking for a different wine tourism experience, don’t miss our annual event with the grape harvest. We will go to the vineyard so you can experience how the grapes are harvested. Then we’ll go to the winery so you can see and take part in the winemaking process. The activity will end with a picnic lunch of grilled Requena sausages, accompanied by our wines. An active wine tourism experience that you will love.

WINE TOURISM EVENTS NOVEMBER 2023:

• Sunday, 26th November: Christmas Wreaths Floral Workshop

For the most creative winelovers we have created this floral workshop in which each participant will make a Christmas wreath with preserved flowers. The workshop will be led by Flor de Espliego. The activity will also include a snack and some wines chosen for the occasion.

What do you think? The agenda of wine tourism events is very varied. Please note that places are always limited in order to offer a quality experience.

Reservations will be made through our reservation centre, from where you can access the usual wine tourism visits (also in english language) and these special events that we will be launching a few weeks before they are held.
