They have been on the front line. They have been the most exposed due to their direct contact with those affected by Covid-19. They are exhausted from the work done and the stress suffered... And a campaign that we fell in love with from the first moment and to which we have joined is directed at them. This is#EnoturismoParaSanitarios, thanks to which a large number of health professionals from all over Spain can enjoy dozens of wine tourism offers for free, because now it is up to us to take care of them.

The initiative starts from Ociovital, a company specialized in travel and experiences, and the proposal is registered through a form, which collects the data of the applicants. They will be the ones to organize the applications. Once the alarm state ends, all the registered will send the list of participating wineries and the proposal of each one, so that they can choose the most interesting offer for them.

Of course, when we resume the activity of wine tourism we will do it with all the security measures: small groups, use of hydro-alcoholic gels, disinfection of the spaces visited after each visit, individual tables for pairings, etc.

Wine tourism in Calderón (Requena): visit and wine tasting

Our new winery in Calderón (Requena) has not yet opened, we were going to do it in May, but the situation has forced us to postpone the date. As soon as we officially open the doors, 30 health professionals with a companion will be able to enjoy a magnificent winemaking experience for free in the Bobal territory of the Utiel-Requena PDO. During the visit, we will visit the newly built winery, with avant-garde and sustainable architecture, and we will also visit the old winery, known in the region as ‘Casa Calderón’, a 1900 building from which we have preserved the cement and the trullos, which are deposits underground. The visit will conclude in our tasting room, where we will taste several of our wines: Pasión de Bobal, Mariluna, Bercial and Fuenteseca.

We invite:

30 health professionals and a companion. The rest of the companions may participate in the experience at the price of € 12.

The days enabled for visits are:

From Tuesday to Thursday: 11:30 a.m. – Friday: 11:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. – Saturday: 11:00 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. – Sunday: 11:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

The initiative will be active until next June 2021 or until the 30 registrations are completed.
