Gold triplet at the Ferevín awards

Cerro Bercial Blanco Selección, Pasión de Bobal red and Fuenteseca red have won three gold medals at the FEREVIN Awards. Three of the eleven awarded, which puts us on the podium of the most awarded wineries of this contest :)

Cerro Bercial Blanco Selección has won in the category of white matured in barrel. It is a wine made with the varieties Chardonnay (45%), Sauvignon Blanc (45%) and Macabeo (15%) that dazzles white lovers with personality, for its excellent combination of citrus aromas, white flower and soft toasted, fruit of its passage through its passage in French oak barrels, where it rests 2 months with a light stirring on its fine lees. It is a wine that in the mouth stands out for its breadth, creaminess and fresh acidity.

Pasión de Bobal red is one of our most awarded wines, and the gold in FEREVIN has achieved it in the category of barrel matured red, since this wine spends 6 months in first use French oak barrels. In it we find a lot of red and black fruit such as strawberries, raspberries and cassis, with light toasted oak, some spiced touch and some licorice. A round wine that tastes great and surprises the palate.

Fuenteseca Tinto has won gold in the young red category. It is a wine with intense fruit load and good persistence, friendly on the palate, broad and fruity. It is a young wine, but thanks to the micro-oxygenation and a very slight passage through wood, it has a very remarkable entity.

The prizes will be collected at the opening of the Feria Requenense del Vino, an appointment with the wines of the Utiel-Requena PDO that will start on August 23 in Requena.
